      Tater tots! Shredded potato formed into a cylinder, fried once, and frozen. Then toasted at home.

          Haha, these are just store bought frozen tater tots. I assume there’s a big industrial machine to make them.

          Nah, these are just store bought. You can make them yourself, but it’s a huge pain. They need to be twice fried, and you have to form each one individually by hand. https://www.seriouseats.com/homemade-tater-tots

          The end result is almost identical. Fun to say you did, but in no way worth it.
