Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•What is an underrated/forgotten video game that you think deserved a second chance?
1·2 years agoIf you like Privateer, check out Double Damage Games “Rebel Galaxy: Outlaw”. Excellent game with a lot of sadly lost potential due to the dev being run out of game development by hostile and entitled “gamers”.

2·2 years agoDarkstar One. And it is just now getting rereleased, so it doesn’t count.
So instead, I’ll pick The Legend of Dragoon on PSX. Such a fun RPG that really needs revisited.
Persona. I’ve had conversations with friends after playing P4 or P5 for awhile where I wondered what response would max out my confidant points with them.
Especially Blue Stilton. By far my favorite cheese!
Uh oh. They smell like blue cheese? That means they smell delicious!
It’s a magic carpet.

8·2 years agoThen why is the bill about DIVESTMENT of Tiktok from Chinese ownership? The operation headquarters are in Los Angeles and Singapore. I’m beginning to think you don’t know what you’re talking about.

12·2 years ago60% of ByteDance is owned by global investors, most of which are based in the US. 20% is owned by the original co-founders, none of whom have any ties to the CCP, and the remaining 20% is owned by employees, almost all of which are in California. The overwhelming majority of the company is already owned by Americans. This entire thing is all about trying to silence a source of information that challenges and refutes government interests, particularly where Palestine is concerned.

There was this audio book thing we used to have when I was in kindergarten. It was about farm animals, and each animal had its own sound effects. Pigs had the sound effect of a man saying the phrase “sloppity sloppity sloppity slop, sloppity sloppity sloppity slop”.
This is now my mantra whenever I see AI slop.
Maybe we should start chanting it en masse at these tech conventions any time AI is being discussed as anything more than a massive waste of resources.
