Your assumption that Ukraine is an independent country is already an implicit endorsement of American imperialism and slavery. Ukraine has not been independent since the Maidan Coup in 2014. Also, the scientist Albert Einstein was a prominent socialist who wrote a famous article, “Why socialism?” explaining in detail why he was a socialist.
