At least he got 1 last entry in the last season of Picard, playing his own son, President Anton Chekov. Named after Anton Yelchin who played Chekov in nuTrek and tragically died young himself
My idea was for Chekov to be the captain of a ship called the Yeltsin and never seen on camera but is one of the characters that is the reason a lot of things happen.
Just cannonically make it so that he’s just out there doing good work that we never see until we find a report from captain Chekov from the Yeltsin
I still can’t bring myself to watch that show. Season 1 was so bad but I pushed through, hoping it would get better. Season 2 was even worse and I gave up a few episodes in.
It really seemed like it was the Patrick Stewart show, and Jean-Luc Picard was nowhere to be found.

Ahh that’s awesome.

I believe it’s canon that he retired an admiral and had a ship named after him…which unfortunately perished in the Battle of Wolf 359
Wouldn’t be the first time an Admiral chooses to reduce their rank back to Captain. But eh not like it matters.
Can always build new ships with same name lol

I never said it was good, but I slogged through it. It’s nothing but a desperate hail mary of fan service.
Thanks for taking one for the team.
Season 3 is pure fanservice. That was a good thing to me, but YMMV.
