    My large dog’s ninth birthday is coming up. She’ll be getting her favorites, too, of course (fish and fruit, mostly).

    It’s so encouraging to see other large dogs who have such long lives. My girl is still in great health, but the expected lifespan (10-11 on average) has been giving me terrible anxiety.

    Anyway, happy birthday!

      What kind of dog? We had two Great Danes and they were taken way too early. Still, we got another and she’s awesome. But, it lingers in the back of my mind.

        That’s why I haven’t had a great dane. They, in particular, have such heartbreakingly short lives. Beautiful dog.

        Mine is a Newfoundland mix.

    I have a 12 year old boy who likes a lot like this, anyhow what’s that brand of harness? Does it work well? We have some stairs and I’d like to just be able to carry him up them via the handle haha.

      I got it at aldi, it was on offer, I didn’t buy it on purpose ;-) it is great to help him down the stairs; up not so much; he is far to heavy to carry, which he hates.
