And will help him buy a truck, he doesn’t know that though.

I absolutely love this and it’s bringing me to tears, My dad did the same for me, except he sold me his new Toyota for a dollar. So happy you can do that for your son. Cheers, dad!

Thank you! It’ll be a great weekend. Hopefully I can sleep, when I’m this excited I don’t tend to sleep well.

It’s a work truck. The companies the can work for now provide the truck but if he has his own he has a lot more options including the ability to make more money.

And you getting down voted is weird.

Thx for answering. There’s a lot of ppl out there that like to lie to themselves that they need a truck when all they do is pick up furniture once a year.

For sure, they’re frequently easy to spot with unneeded lift kits and a wheel and tire package that only damages the performance of the vehicle.

Like me he’d rather drive sports cars given the choice. But he’s not ready to be a two vehicle person. If it wasn’t for work he’d be a zero vehicle person. Getting started as a youth is a bitch these days.

So, I know they’re not out yet, but the Slate truck and Telo trucks look like they could be useful.

The complaints about price of an EV seem less important when people are buying new gas trucks for $70k.

And these are targeting around $30k and $45k which is super reasonable.

The Telo is a mini pickup - and its much more reasonable to use a mini truck as a commuting vehicle since you’re not hauling around a huge body.

A tacoma bed is 53 inches at the widest point. A Ford Transit’s cargo bay is 53 inches at the narrowest point

It’s a topper / insert with tools and such that needs access to three of the four sides as far as I know.

But I’ll talk to him about it when I get there later today.
