This is exactly right which is too bad, JC3 was perfect when it came out. The grappling hook and wing suit was perfect! No game has felt as good with travel since, though the latest Spider-Man games got close.

I need this as a T-shirt!
The book Lies My Teacher Told Me by James W. Loewen goes a long way to accomplish this. At least it did for me.

I love this!!!

Oh shit, I’m doing this with my granddaughter! She’s not 2 yet so I need to wait a bit but I’m doing it!

ACC is my favorite right now.
What a great session! That man is a hero.

🤣🤣🤣
I have the same problem. When open world was new it was different but now open world just means generic and boring more often than not. The Zelda games kept me interested, Cyberpunk 2077 did as well but I used to play a pen and paper RPG a lot like it so I was going to like it no matter what. Otherwise I’d rather something unique and different.
I put a ton of hours into Astroneer if that counts. A hundred hours on my own and about the with my son which was a blast!

You think you can finish the game in 8 hours? Or you think without all the blathering it would be 8? 😂

I would like to add “stop with the marathon cutscenes!” - Maybe then I’d buy it on a deep sale

I think so! For me I remember too much of the story and want to hurry up and get to it.

And I can’t replay it, I’ve tried. It damages my memories of it too much.

Not easy but have enough surplus to cover those things.
Also try to remember all the mortgage you’re paying you’ll most likely get back when you sell, unlike when you rent.

That’s delightful to hear! As a layman I wondered how the book was for people in the field. I just read it for entertainment myself.

Fuck cancer!

Neutrophils are my favorite part of the immune system. I’m paraphrasing the book Immune–an amazing book that’s totally worth your time–with this example.
You’re breaking into a museum to steal art. A security guard spots you, calls out on the radio for more security guards and charges you screaming! The guard then rips its own organs and swings them at you as weapons. As the guard is pummeling you with it’s organs you can see it’s getting tired, all of the sudden it explodes into Spider-Man type web made up of it’s body to keep you from escaping as other screaming security guards start to hit you with their organs!
Metal AF right?
