Open Source@lemmy.ml•Is there something like LinkedIn, but without big tech involvement, no data collection, no ads, open source, and preferably decentralized (maybe Fediverse or even P2P)?Deutsch
62·3 months agoThere might be, but the fact that you don’t know it illustrates the problem: market share and popularity.

Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•What language courses did they have in your country’s schools?Deutsch
1·3 months agoWell, it depends. The south-western states usually prioritise French, some north-western offer Dutch. Idk abt the eastern states but judging by the world population speaking either polish or czech, I would believe those are more optional courses, if anything.

3·3 months agoThat‘s true. On the contrary, having taken French and Latin, I picked up basic Spanish and Italian almost on the go, when visiting these countries.
Also French is prioritised as it’s our direct neighbour.

1·8 months agoI used Omnivore for that and just kept everything. Since they moved on I played around with safari’s read leater or pocket but none of them really grew on me.
I do quick-save stuff to safari but clean out the list usually during the weekend, as anything I haven’t read by then seldom is worth keeping.
There are pretty strict rules in Germany for working outside your contract work time. This seems to qualify and to be a one time event. Also it must be compensated by extra pay and/or free time.
Been there, done that.
