Damn, kudos to you for playing a game like Subnautica, when you have bad thalassophobia. Or did the game make you discover this fear? Still, if so, respect for continuing to play!

That Imginn link that mediocreme_ow posted seems promising, but otherwise in a pinch, I have good results with opening Instagram posts from profiles by opening them in a new tab. If you just don’t click them, but instead open them in a new tab, I don’t get hit with the “create an account”.

aegis for Age of Empires II. Instant building, gathering, research, etc. And of course marco for revealing map and polo to remove fog of war. cheese steak jimmy’s for extra food and lumberjack for extra wood. I always struggled to manage those two resources. But even more importantly, how do you turn this on, for that cool siege sports car.
Man, I played a lot of AoE as a child and teenager.

Music, without a doubt. Specifically, being able to choose particular songs to listen to. I’d get pretty miserable after a few days.
Also, outside the US WhatsApp is some kind of standard the way rich Americans think iMessage is. Companies will ask her to contact them on WhatsApp, so she’ll have to have it regardless of your personal involvement.
That really depends on the country that the family member is moving to, and is not an absolute thing world-wide.

What band is that? I’m always interested in checking out new music.

Was it Queen of the Clouds? I like Lady Wood and Blue Lips too, but QOTC is just such a “leave it on, no need to skip any tracks” album for me. Such a vibe.
Awesome music
I recommend PowerWash Simulator (Steam link). Sometimes when I’m completely wrecked from work, I’ll sit and play this, while I chill in a Discord VC with friends. Sometimes both my girlfriend and I will play it multiplayer, while hanging with our friends in Discord. Really nice and relaxing game.

I tried Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes again today, after years of not playing it. Had a lot of fun, and even beat a bunch of previously best times!
I also tried Balatro for the first time today. Really cool music and aesthetics, but not for me. I could see someone who likes Poker, getting super into it though.
Been playing a lot of Dice & Fold though, which I initially thought that I wouldn’t care for, but which has really turned into an obsession. That and Storyteller have been so much fun to play!
Next up, I want to give PowerWash Simulator a try, as I hear a lot of good things about it.

I would be very excited to explore the in-game locations. Hopefully feel really immersed in the universe! And as /u/AlolanYoda@mander.xyz mentioned, I hope it will be possible to solve conflicts through diplomacy. That has always been Star Trek’s biggest draw for me, that it isn’t just about combat and fighting.
Don’t know if you’re looking for desktop software specifically, but back in the day I used Medisafe on my phone, and that would definitely be my first port of call, if I had to start keeping track of that stuff again.

I really loved Interview with the Vampire, so I was very excited for Mayfair Witches. But wow, those two are very different shows in tone, pacing and dialogue. It was very hard for me to get through Mayfair Witches, and I only finished it, hoping I’d end up liking it in the end. But I won’t be tuning back in for season 2, that’s for sure.
To be fair, I’ve never read the books. I have only ever read the Vampire Chronicles. So it may just be that I wouldn’t care for the books either.
However, in the spirit of this thread - I do want to check out the source material, Lives of the Mayfair Witches at some point. Could be that I’d enjoy it, even if I didn’t like the show.

Well, I’m sold! But you’re right, it seems like it isn’t streaming anywhere, or even possible to rent it. Prices on Amazon are a little spicy too, so I may just have to put it on my list and keep a look out for it. Thanks for the recommendation!

Never heard about this show before. I see it only has one season. Do you think it’s worth watching?
Holy fuck. Those are some pretty nasty experiences. No wonder they led to you having such a fear. I honestly don’t think I could play a game like Subnautica, if it was me. So I think it’s very impressive that you have, and even beat it twice. You’re made of sterner stuff.
