If you want to try something from them that is slightly less depressing the Eel horse episode has one of my favorite moments. The pure joy of Robert’s reaction to Garrison in that episode gives me the warm fuzzies. Also if you want a sillier version of btb you should try the dollop. They tend to focus on more silly and absurd than awful.
edit: also the christmas episodes of btb are stories of good things happening.
A couple years ago I got a handful of F clamps for christmas.
My wife: “I thought you already have clamps”
Me: “Yes, I do. But not enough.”
Wife: “How many is enough?”
Me: “One more than I have.”
Also a little 18ga brad nailer makes those glueups way easier.
The knob should just pull off, but sometimes they require full chooch. If she breaks it, it’s not a big deal. If Habitat Re-Store is a thing near her they usually have a shelf of these knobs for almost nothing. If not the big box stores sell them too, and the lights can be turned on and off without the knob until she can get a replacement.
Back when I worked as a handyman I used the old knobs for many things. Some people get very weird about change. I’d usually ask if they wanted the new one to wedge into their junk drawer, though.
For driving fasteners impacts are better. For drilling drills are better. Impacts can drive fasteners that would stall a drill, but drilling metal with an impact would make a dog’s dinner of the bit and piece.
edit: the impact engages at a mid-low torque. That is the point. They drive with the impacts, not direct drive. The ryobi will start impacting about a quarter though a 2" deck screw.
I will add: If you are sinking 2" (50mm) screws into wood, a little 1/4" speed chuck impact like that green ryobi is perfect. Every brand will have one so choose your quality/price balance and get one. Impacts are more forgiving about camming out on screws, they don’t jerk your wrist like a drill, and they are not as hard on batteries.

I just installed a new head unit in my car this year. It’s still a thing. I do think the sizing standard is dying as car manufacturers currently favor integrated units over modular. I hope that fades as these cars age and people see the flaw of “my car wont start because a capacitor in my radio dried out and it fails post”.
Hollow doors have about a 1" frame of solid wood around the perimeter.
I also always have a sharpie on me and often use it to fix the missing labels on these pumps.
