Being lucky all the time would be cool. The only time I can think it might be a hindrance would be at a casino because they’d think I’m cheating but I don’t gamble so it doesn’t matter I guess.

I have absolutely no idea. I’m the youngest person in the family and everyone thinks of me as the baby. So no one ever told me what the beef is with this one family in the tree, but I know no one talks to them.

A kid once asked to pet my dog and I said no. Kid then proceeded to tell me my dog looked evil. I was enraged. She is a dog, she can’t be evil, and she’s absolutely terrified of strangers but especially kids.

Usually when I have to deny people petting this dog, I’ll offer to let them pet the other dog who’s normal, but fuck that kid, you don’t get to pet any dog today.

My one dog is very special. She likes to sleep with her head under the couch. She was not pleased when we got a new couch that her head wouldn’t fit under. She sometimes runs into walls and falls off of sidewalks.

My other dog is entirely disinterested in toys. She does not play with them, ever.

I snuck meds into cheese for my dog one time, and she is now forever suspicious of any and all cheese whether it’s cubed, shredded, sliced, whatever.

Have you tried just looking young? My sister answered the door (of the house she owned) and it was some sales person who asked her if her parents were home. She said no and closed the door.

I’m also going to need some elbow room in case I need to dodge anything.

No no no, I have it on good authority that it is hammer time.

Might need to note that I am ignoring Andromeda here. Personally I see all three games as one long game because the story is so involved. Maybe someone else has no problem just playing one by itself but I can’t, in the same way that I’m never going to watch just one LOTR movie.

I probably would have picked Mass Effect over Odyssey if you hadn’t specified no series. There’s really no point in playing just one ME.

I love black tea, particularly Earl Grey. I find it very comforting, like a warm hug. Starting in fall I drink several cups a day. During the summer I make iced tea.

Green tea shouldn’t really be strong, you’re probably steeping it too long. I drink green tea if I’m after something light (or if I’m out of milk, which I need for black tea).

Only if I have a specific question, like is this tent better than that tent. But I don’t log in and I haven’t since Boost stopped working.

I do miss it sometimes, but time spent on my phone has gone way down and that can only be an improvement.

I’d have to look it up, ianal but I don’t think that’s a thing where I live. I personally have not seen any weird punishment like that for contesting a will.

…yes, and? I don’t want to work on site. My WFH schedule is flexible enough that I don’t need an “extra day free”. I don’t think it’s worth it. Working fewer days isn’t always better for everyone.

Nah it’s just people, doesn’t matter if they’re famous. I used to work in a law office and the family and estate cases were the absolute worst. Some people just turn into vile cretins when someone dies. Give me a good old criminal case any day over that nonsense.

I’ve been WFH full time since early covid, so WFH for sure. My commute wasn’t even bad, my office is less than 10 minutes away.

I’m not a social person so there is no upside to going into the office for me. Everything to do with my job must be communicated by email so it’s documented, so it’s just a waste of time if someone wants to chat in person or on the phone about it.

Plus I don’t have to wear pants.

The one downside is my dogs seem to have developed separation anxiety since I’m around all the time.
