Yes, I tend to keep relatively long chats with LLM. Spedially when using reasoning models the chat history grows quickly. So being able to search for some text string in a given chat would be helpful. But I understand this might be a not so common use case.

But what I miss in other apps are things like being able to do text search in the chats, share files/media into the LLM, just as I would in a chat with a human person, the ability to select a message and ask the llm to regenerate it. To be honest I havent seen many android apps with all this funcionality that are LLM agnostic (meaning I can either plug ollama or another LLM of my choice). The ollama android app is very good but does not support openai/gemini.

Agreed. I love kvaesitso and I use it. But these conversions is something I simply dont use, because entering the units the way it expects is too cumbersome for me most of the time.

Same thing for timers. I hate having to type “15 min” instead of “15min” which feels much more natural to me.

I have a domain with one of the new TLD which I used for my emails.

Most services worked fine with it, but there were a few cases where my email was flagged as fraudulent and I had to call, explain it was legit and provide with another email.

There was one service I registered which explicitly said they oy accept gmail addresses.

Roughly one year ago I acquired a new domain using the .org extension, I am migrating my accounts to this one, and I havent had any problems so far.

So overall my conclusion is that most services are fine with custom emails, a few of them block based on TLD and an even smaller subset will allow only specific providers. Since I am moving alway from big corp, having a widely used TLD that seems to be accepted in most cases is my personal sweet spot.

Nope. It is an android app. The author is probably using some kind of webview to display the data, so html and css are for laying out and styling the components. This is pretty common nowadays

I’m with you on that one. Currently paying for tuta (1$) and addy (1$) and forwardemail (3$). Forwardemail is actually more expensive

But neither proton nor tuta support IMAP, SMTP, at least not without the bridge thing.
