Looks good! You already know that anticipated extra can be frozen? I‘ve done that successfully with batches too big to eat right away but too small to carry out a full processing operation.

Awesome effort!
I’d be worried if it said hi back.
Yes, you can eat the flowers. We combine them with regular broccoli in a saute. They make a pretty addition. The very end of the stems are also edible but anything more than an inch or two from the end can be woody.
Never trust someone that doesn’t like dogs and never trust someone your dog doesn’t like.

Our induction plate rivals the power of the electric range in this apartment. Our previous induction plates were on par with our gas stove. Am hoping for even more power when I upgrade to a built in induction range that’s wired into 240v.

Gas stoves. Yeah, real smart to use a source of pollution inside your home. Electric ranges have been available for decades. Recently available induction stoves are like magic. Yet people cling to cooking with fire.

I‘d investigate whether the buzzer could be muzzled somehow. Sometimes a strategically placed piece of tape, or folded cloth, can do wonders.
Nice story!
We were in the Altadena fire zone. My wife evacuated far south, staying near work. Our foster and I went just down into Los Angeles to stay with a friend. We confirmed that he likes to chase cats but he got along nicely with her two foster chihuahuas. He also accepted being in a crate most of the day as long as short walks happened periodically. On Thursday he got called back so he could be part of a group of shelter dogs heading to a partner shelter in San Diego. While dropping him off it became apparent my shelter needed help with the flood of donations. The community outpouring of support was awesome. After two days they were overwhelmed and started sending donations to a local partner shelter. I stayed for a third day because residents were still streaming in for supply pickups.

Be kind, rewind.
My wife and I chuckled in empathy over this. Our 60lb pit bull foster is similar in a lot of ways!

when I haven’t done my habits for awhile it seems like everything goes to chaos
Yeah, happens to me too. Sometimes just doing one little thing quickly builds momentum back up again.
But many days I dread all the annoying chores I do making everyday feel the same.
Again, yeah, happens to me too. What helps me is to not do chores but to see how efficiently I can do chores. It’s more interesting to come up with processes/procedures/tools that get the job done faster. In the end the chore is done AND the next time it will go even faster because I’m more efficient. HTH

Get in the habit of developing habits.
Yup meltdowns happen sometimes. AND there’s the century-long legacy of radioactive waste!

Nice job, and neatly done too! That last picture with the corrosion I’d be worried about. I had similar corrosion that became a seeping leak. (Maybe you already know but apparently such corrosion is caused when rosin flux is not adequately cleaned off.) My leak was in place that would have been very difficult to solder in so I invested in a hydraulic Propress tool. It worked really well.

Yeah, buying from physical stores also helps your local economy. Otherwise there’s eBay and Aliexe (spelling?)

For some time now I’ve been very successful at not buying anything from Amazon.
Yeah something is wrong with the app - I got error messages and didn’t think my post went through.
My apples turn brown while running them through a food processor before cooking. So I give some finely minced lemon a good half hour simmer start. When adding the brown apples the magically are no longer brown!
