So overall would you suggest to not use their service and put up with the pain points of proton?
There is nothing wrong with FastMail, I just don’t like that they are based in Aus and are under the Five Eyes situation. I say this as an Australian who lives in a different country. I would prefer privacy locked, but from their transparency reports, they do seem pretty secure.
I’m not opposed to it being calendar only, but if it has email also then that is a bonus
Weren’t they just accused of grabbing their own ad data?

4·19 days agoI use 1Password so I’m guessing Librewolf handles Firefox extensions? Should be fine there.
I don’t mind logging in every time actually, but yeah I can take a look at those settings.

51·19 days agoThanks for the info. I’ve seen Librewolf recommended a lot but also found a lot of threads of “normies” complaining it was a pain to use daily. I’ll give it a spin!

3·19 days agoI was quite fond of Arc so the layout would work for me. How does the privacy compare to say Librewolf which is what others are recommending?
I’ll check out their website. Would be awesome if they had a mobile browser. I’m not sure what to do there. I’m on iOS.

I started on Nobara and it’s pretty stable now, been on it for a year. I think it’s the perfect place as it’s based on Fedora so easy to look stuff up and know how to handle problems, but it auto-installs the Nvidia drivers and gets you going immediately.
They have a pretty good discord for support too!
