I never thought of Murderbot as a her, either. Possibly this is because I listened to All Systems Red as an audiobook, and the narrator was male, but even without that, it just seems a little more masculine to me. (It? Seems weird to call it an it. Maybe a they instead)
Not that it matters, of course. I just find people’s projections fascinating, is all!


I need to learn how to do this. Not the borrowing books part, I’ve got that down. It’s the other part I don’t know how to do.

I recently finished The Psychology of Time Travel, not sure if you’ve read it, but it was really good and interesting! And totally unique

Voting for Leviathan Wakes as it’s the only one I’ve read so far. That being said, the majority of these titles are on my list of books to read, and the ones that aren’t, I’m looking into now!
I’m partial to TST’s Seven Tenets, and they work for “laws of sentience” in a sci-fi universe as well.
