Thats mostly because the vast majority of IR lights and led’s also emit visable light. To get an ir light to not also emit within the visable light spectrum is much more expensive.

Its kinda perfect down the middle.

Speed and movement like a COD. Very crisp and fluid and fast.

Damage like a sim. Single shot kills, no kill feed or hit markers etc.

My reasoning is 100% selfish. I dont want the content creators that i watch to stop creating things i find incredibly valuable. And i dont want google to cancel a service that i find incredibly valuable.

Using adblock isnt some innate human right. They are well within their rights to block adblock.

You get almost the whole worlds information for free in video form. You can be entertained or use it as a teaching tool. It is the best place at this point for product demos and reviews. It is a crazy wealth of information and infrastructure that everyone takes advantage of and somehow just expect to be free. If Google cancells it because it is not profitable, i would bet the efficiency of the entire human race takes a significant nose dive. It also probably runs one of the highest sets of data storage and encoding on the planet.

There is one main difference in this comparison. If you upgrade your desktop consistently, those old parts are valuable on the used market, which can make the upgrades more affordable. Used laptop parts are less desirable due to their inoperability.

Numbers are not the most important moral decider in war. By your logic, the US or Canada would have been the worst major player in WW2. Intent matters and moral values matter.

I read it in school, but honestly did not find it to be all that special. Its a good book, but its message was pretty simple and i think modern audiences would agree with the premise immediately.

I found “The Catcher in the Rye” to be the most thought-provoking of high schools books. However, i dont think it really would improve society if more people read it.

If i could think of a book everyone should read to improve humanity, it would have to be something akin to either statistics for dummies, moral philosophy for dummies, or wealth management for dummies.
