I know less than half of you half as well as I should like, and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.
So you’re actually mentally working 24 hours paid for 12. Got it

Holy shit! I need to do this. Thank you!

Fixing small things. My friends or family need something fixed that doesn’t require a professional. I like figuring out how to fix things or at least providing a temporary solution. I do it because I’m helping someone, also I’m building my skill set. A basic search of answers and videos teaching me how to do it properly most times is easy to find. If not I find a way to create a safe temporary solution until they can have one come in. Very fulfilling, especially if you like a challenge.

The Fionavar tapestry. Guy Gaverial Kay. Never had a writer influence my life more.

Broke my arm snowboarding. It was totally crooked, they had to put me under to set it. I fell asleep couldn’t move, but was awake the whole time. I just laid there and listened to the doctor and nurses conversations. The second time I had to get all 4 wisdom teeth pulled but they had to do a biopsy on a growth in my jaw. That one was just a count down then I woke up shivering in a medical bed next to other people that got put under. No dreams, just woke up and asked for a blanket.
I’ve done duo lingo for a couple languages. I find it easier to read the language. But without actual conversation with another person. Makes it very hard to grasp the language. I’ve gotten a tip. That watching children shows that use the language are the best way to start. Dora for example.
