I think I bought mine off mono price. I’m sure Amazon has some. But I also used a ps2 to USB adapter and used it as a daily driver for years. The only reason I stopped was because it was too loud when no longer had an office to myself.

Tempo on android is open source and IMO nicer than Symfonium

I bought an 8bitdo ultimate Bluetooth controller (also supports 2.4ghz transceiver). It pairs with my switch and my Linux system effortlessly and works great.
I believe the button mapping is backwards from what I see in games (push b to confirm choices, but it’s really a). But I rely more on muscle memory anyway.

The only thing that gives me pause with outdated drivers is the possibility of being exposed to unpatched security vulnerabilities. But in my experience Debian does provide updates when it’s critical.
