Herb is ört in Swedish. Gräs is better translated as grass, so ogräs is non-grass. This also enables a funny way to insult someone’s lawn – since lawn is gräsmatta (grass carpet) – by calling it an ogräsmatta.

I kid you not, this is called förgätmigej (förgät mig ej) in Swedish. I was today years old when I found out “förgät” actually is an old word meaning, you guessed it, “forget”.

(The common translation for “forget” would be “glöm”.)

I’d assume after 8 minutes the people on the day side would notice and all media would blow up, so hopefully you’d be asleep and wouldn’t have to worry :)

Also I’m amazed by how people don’t seem to understand what half-life is. It’s not the time it takes for an atom to decay. It’s the time it takes for half of the atoms to decay, meaning there will be some U-238 that decay into Ra-226 in just a couple of seconds.

So even if the Earth was created 4000 years ago with uranium but not lead (for some weird reason), some of that lead would have decayed into lead by now.
