But it obviously wasn’t God.

But it obviously wasn’t God.

Oh absolutely. I was in one of the countries on that list. Only the rebels and army wore camouflage, and the police would demand you take it off or be arrested. They were serious, the war was not that long ago. It doesn’t matter if you have no other clothes, according to a local they’ll make a tourist go naked rather than allow camouflage.

Why any? Why not pistols or rifles with small magazines?

Poe’s Law of the internet.

The article actually goes easy on them. The first plaintiff sued because the student was brought into the principal’s office and told they were being suspended for drug use, and as evidence showed a photo of them eating something in their room. It turned out to be Mike and Ike’s candy. The family was so upset they were spying on the child in their bedroom that it escalated to an investigation and then the scandal unfolded.
The school tried to backpedal and claim that the app takes photos on a timer and they had no idea, and this was proven to be a lie in court when they showed the IT training video explaining how proud they were of the webcam snooping feature.

This just feels so counter to Trek ideals.
Are you expecting a joke to actually discuss both sides of a topic?
i think you may have missed the joke if you read it too fast

In his diary entries from 1895, Herzl unambiguously advocated for the forced emigration of Palestinians, writing “to spirit the penniless [Palestinian] population across the border by denying it any employment in our own country… Both the process of expropriation and the removal of the poor must be carried out discreetly and circumspectly.” He envisioned a program of strict ethnic segregation, denying Palestinians employment and economic opportunities, to compel their exodus.
Herzl believed this combination of ethnic separation and forced transfer, or ethnic cleansing, could be made to appear voluntary, masking the violent reality. This cynical blueprint of demographic engineering through discrimination and dispossession was perhaps his most insidious contribution to the ideology of settler colonialism.

We still don’t understand quite how the brain works or how consciousness comes from neurons.

It makes sense; they hate journalists and NGOs and view them as anti-Israel. There’s decades of evidence showing they are targeted by soldiers, same way a lot of US soldiers accused the “liberal media” of opposing the wars and Bush tried to target Al Jazeera’s offices with a car bomb until Tony Blair vetoed the idea.

Good point. Sorry if it wasn’t clear, I agree with your above point that Israel is violating the spirit of the deal. I think the international community is starting to see Israel was holding off on their end which is why the second round of hostage releases was delayed.

Depends on if they were raiding Hamas people in West Bank or just rounding up someone else.

Seems like Israel is breaking another truce.

Two months is wildly optimistic.
US officials have spoken with their Israeli counterparts and found the Israelis have no long term plan. They’ll hit Gaza and then have no plan for after that. It won’t solve the longterm problems or make peace any easier. It’s just a Pyrrhic victory they’re going for by this point.

That’s the thing, one precipitates the other and their talking points start to converge.

Bad move. If the US joins in, so will Iran and Russia.
