I suppose another option could be to attach a retractable lead outside the door. If you could set the length so she could reach the grass but not the pool, you could just clip her onto it when she is outside

You could space tiki torches or something similar around the pool, and run a mesh fence like this between them: https://www.lowes.com/pd/GARDEN-CRAFT-50-ft-x-2-ft-Green-PVC-Coated-Steel-Welded-Wire-Rolled-Fencing-with-Mesh-Size-2-in-x-3-in/1000367323
Easy to take down and roll up, and you don’t have to worry about removing posts, you just light them to provide some light for the guests!

Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•What's a good joke present to get your SO for Christmas?English
6·1 year agoI have an old set of joke boxes I bought from The Onion ages ago that are really fun to put an actual present in and give to someone. For example, the Visorganizer: a small organizer pouch that clips onto the visor of your hat!
Another year the only thing my wife wanted was a new set of Airpods Pro. Now, for me, a very important part of a present is the surprise, so when she found a fairly large box under the tree, she figured she had gotten something else. Until she opened the box and found another wrapped gift inside. And another inside that, and another, and another… And finally at the end a small gift bag with the Airpods in 😁
