Yeah I don’t like it but I do struggle to argue against it. He cares about justice, and wanted to make sure bajorans got fair treatment (in his area, at least) under the cardassians. But then again he worked for them.

Likewise he got a bit anti-“solid” racist from time to time and had a vaguely sexual relationship with the female founder, but then went back the link, calmed them all down and kind of stopped the war.

I feel like it’s one step forward but then also at least one step back.

Still my favourite character so I guess I’m just a hypocrite lol
