Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•How do you track the progress of show you watch?
2·1 month agoI had a MAL too but deleted it in a few days due to the bad UI. Then I made a AniList account and it’s the watchlist service I use most (although, my watchlist isn’t even much consistent but still). Then I tried Simkl and Trakt. In terms to Simkl, Aside from the bad UI, the only reason I haven’t deleted it is because of the great importing feature. But I don’t use it much. In terms of Trakt, I don’t use it much either.

Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•How do you track the progress of show you watch?
1·1 month agoUnderstandable because I also watch completed seasons and I’m more of a binge watcher. I’m not a weekly watcher type of person either. In terms of One Piece, I watched based on arcs and always have been…
Valid way. Used to follow this way most of my life and this is what I like more honestly.
Yup, I have done that most of my life too.
True. Tracking is just a hassle for people like you and me.

2·1 month agoThanks for taking your time to answer the questions I provided there. You’re the first one to do it and I’m glad you did… + Yeah, honestly, I’m losing interest in tracking too, not that I ever had THAT much of an interest either in it… I’m starting to care way less now… I mainly use AniList and I have only been recently using it to find out more great anime and talk to people about different anime and learn their opinions. I’m using it more for these reasons rather than for tracking stuff honestly

2·1 month agoSo, do you use anything to track your shows?

Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•I see mostly the same content on Lemmy/PieFed as Reddit, but without the niche stuff. What’s the actual benefit?
8·1 month agoReddit would have been more addicting which consume more of my time, would be a centralized platform, there would be more inhumane people there (people who support Zionism), and it’s a Big Tech.
We don’t have these in Lemmy, PieFed and these are benefits for me.

Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•Do you rate shows that you drop and do you think it's okay to do it?
1·1 month agoJust the type of comment I was looking for!

Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•Do you rate shows that you drop and do you think it's okay to do it?
1·1 month agoI’m mainly an anime guy. And I use and rate on AniList

Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•Do you rate shows that you drop and do you think it's okay to do it?
1·1 month agoI meant dropping as in: dropping it after a few episodes (not completing a whole season)
I guess that happened because you had your VPN on
Was thinking of trying something like Reddit. And I never imagined I would like a platform this much… And I’m also glad that I came to Lemmy instead of using Reddit

Great way to track!
