Shite, I’m pretty damned sure I updated like a week ago. The updates always pop up in the main menu of the app, and they often mean a fix for google’s latest anti-adblock measures, so I usually update right away. I should probably adjust that policy to add some delay.
I dunno if “power plant” quite fits for solar and wind. Definitely for Hydro, though.
It’s a mixed bag, for me.
Charitably, I could say that they were a little ahead of their time. Something I’ve noticed about nearly all of the best TV/Movies/etc. these days is that they’re all heavily character-focused. It’s the well-written characters that are the soul of good stories, and the situations and settings are just a vehicles for character exploration and interaction. So, Universe, from my perspective, was an attempt to make a character-focused show.
But the characters they WROTE in Universe… well, there were a few really good ones, a few reeeeeeeeeeally not so good ones, and a lot of rather boring mediocre ones.
That being said, it’s still Stargate. I stillnreally liked the show and wasnpissed it got cancelled. I refuse to believe it was because the show got really bad numbers, on its own merit. But there is quite a lot to criticize about it.
Elden Ring will always be pretty special to me, but as far as being FUN, it’s not in the same league as Nightreign.
It took me like 3 tries to get into it, and even then, I respect it more than I enjoy actually playing it, these days. If it’s not your thing, it’s not your thing.
GTA. All of them, but especially 5.

This sounds a HELL of a lot like my scenario. I swapped to Bazzite from Mint on account of NVidia/gaming issues, and IMMEDIATELY noticed a big improvement, but I’ve had a handful of issues dealing with the flatpak of JetBrains Rider, and Firefox for that matter.
One thing I figured out early was to configure permissions to allow Rider to access the filesystem outside of its sandbox. That seems to be not something that flatpaks are setup for, by default.
More recently, I found that flatpak sandboxes don’t inherit PATH or other global system variables. Which makes sense, but I haven’t figured out the solution yet.
I would definitely take a shot at another KDE distro, cause I also have liked KDE/Plasma (that’s what Bazzite runs, right?) more than I did Cinnamon, but I don’t know anything about what Bazzite does to get great NVidia performance for gaming, or how I might replicate it on a non-immutable distro.
Filling it out digitally on the OPM website takes like 2-3 hours, max. Maybe across 2 sessions, if there’s some info that you gotta go get from others and come back with later.
At the risk of being topical, K-Pop Demon Hunters comes to mind. Like, not really a stupid PLOT but a pretty stupid/ridiculous premise. They make it WORK, though. That movie is SO much better than the title gives it any right to be.

There’s maybe a bit of an argument here if Sling is subsidizing their low prices with losses or debt or revenue from other projects. And let’s be real here… that’s absolutely what they’re doing, cause that’s what they ALL do. Offer services at unsustainable prices, in the hope of cornering a chunk of the market, and exploiting it for profit, later.
Downtime across all those platforms started at pretty much exactly 10:00AM EST, which was Silksong’s release time. Not a coincidence.
I tried it a few weeks ago. Streamed it from my PC to the living room, cause I didn’t feel like getting off the couch.
It was better than I thought it’d be, but I’m not keen on doing it again, when I have KBM available. Tough to to say how much of the discomfort is just fighting my KBM muscle memory, and how much is “game fundamentally too complicated for controller”. I only had one REAL complaint about the way a particular button/input was mapped.
Yeah, this seems like a non-issue, to me. When the ISP sees pirated traffic, they have to issue a notice to the customer, and that customer is Hampton Inn. The ISP doesn’t know or care that the end user isn’t Hampton employees. They’re just covering their ass, legally.

Yo, I feel this a ton. I can never get him to clean consistently, cause he’ll get distracted by… well, basically anything. We had success with scheduling “clean up time” 1 hour before bedtime, for a while, but even we could never get it to stick. Best I’ve learned to do is remember it’s not malicious, “focus” is just something he doesn’t have mastered, yet. I’ll also point out, he’s gotten a LOT better in the past couple years. Hell, he voluntarily wanted to clean his room tonight, after having his friend over all day, he said they left the room a mess.
It’s what got me canceled.

Just that “power plant” I think most people associate with large enclosed facilities that house power generating equipment, which doesn’t quite describe wind and solar farms. Hence that most people refer to them as “farms”.
