I wake up in disappointment about there not being a sojen anime where Friedrich Nietzsche and contemporary philosophers go on to hunt and kill God. in the most literal sense. not to kill a God, but the biblical one.
imagine him and Wagner setting up a play to trap Jesus in the middle of the concert. or a side quest with Marx and Engles. or getting weirded out by Freud but then using him to hipnotize captured Jesus to figure out how to kill God.

4·18 days agoI disagree with calling it “dumb”. it was perfect for it’s niche. I want a watch to show the time, basic notifications, media control… not send an email.
Pebble always on screen and long battery life was perfect for a wearable. all other smartwatches are basically miniaturized phones that do way too much in a screen that can’t handle it. If something is easier to do on the phone, it does not need to work on a smartwatch.
Hopefully the new pebbles are good, I am worried that the new one’s touch screen will make a touch based UI, which suck on tiny screens,

they are not “advanced” they are just an amalgam of all the civilizations they absorbed. Therefore, no other civilisation has good cable management. I mean, look at you, all your cables are a mess, nerves looping, arteries, veins, lymph nodes, and a big one for poo? figure out them cables before complaining.
