I think the systems resiliance to Trumps influence we saw when he lost the first time can’t be taken for granted, given one of the first things he did when regaining power was installing loyalists in many positions.

Which is the reason we might see Trump ordering a stop to counting votes once GOPs leading next election. He tried this before but now has sufficiently manipulated the officals in charge to get his way.

It was never meant as reliable investment but as a tool to funnel bribes directly to Trump Oligarchy Ltd.
