This may sound like a dumb statement of mine, but I still don’t know how to eat cornbread.
Like do you eat that instead of rice if you wanna eat cornbread? Or can you eat both rice and cornbread?
Other than that your dish looks lush!

Hoy Kabayan! We still have some left actually so you’ve got a chance 😅 Yeah they’re all the same thing tbh Goto is made with Beef Tripe, Arroz Caldo is with chicken and some added saffron and optional but recommended hard boiled egg 😋 Lugaw is basically the same as Arroz Caldo.

Here’s the recipe for goto, but we just used my mom’s recipe which is pretty much the same as the video, enjoy!

We did have some chicken noodle soup not a few days ago, can’t go wrong with a good chicken noodle in hand!

They’re actually pretty much true same things, but the only difference is Goto is made with Beef Tripe and Arroz Caldo is made with chicken 😋

Haha, just finished them earlier unfortunately, I can make another batch in 20 minutes no Biggie 😅 come over! Bring bibingka 😂

Yeah it’s like mochi but flat lol and no filling. Basically the same thing!

Just search Palitaw on YouTube, there’ll be plenty of recipes out there!
https://youtu.be/DOW4l64137k this is the one I used, should be no problems for you, have fun!

Thank you! And yes, it’s very easy to make, it only took me less than 20 minutes to make. Really chewy, goes great with a cup of coffee or tea.

I don’t know how she makes it, but I can for certain tell you, add more tomatoes, as tomatoes can add more to the sourness of it and if you can, add lemon juice, fresh or bottled, to add more sourness, but it’s all down to your preference to be honest 😅

Love how there’s different varieties of each of the same food, makes the world go round ☺️

Never heard of it unfortunately I guess it’s similar

Too late, all gone 😭

Answered your own question 😅 don’t knock it though, thats the most tastiest parts, might not like this but I like to eat the meaty bit of the head too lol but that’s just me.

You got it spot on! It is similar to Tom Yum but sinigang is mainly just prawns, pork or fish, whereas I think Tom Yum has prawn and mussels and other seafood stuff (don’t quote me on this, I’m not Thai😅). Yeah my mom usually makes it homemade as opposed to using a ready made mix, you could make it spicy just a tiny bit if you want it’s up to you!

Nice one! Enjoy it. You’ve got apple trees and they’re fruitful? I envy you 😂

$2 a bag? Bargain! 10 hours though? 😩 I’m guessing this is by slow cooking. Would there be a quicker way to make these from stove?

Thank you for your kind words 😅 I did try my best either way it still tastes good.

Yeah, what they both said^^
Ahh I see! It makes sense now, thank you.
