We caught it when it was stage 3 progressing to stage 4, and after 6 “memorable” rounds of chemo I’m 5 years out and tentatively in the clear! Helps I got it when was 27, so I was a bit more durable lmao

I often think of the old saying “may you live in interesting times” and wish it’d be boring again; we’re all in for some more chaos I’m afraid. But what doesn’t kill you makes you tougher, stronger, harder. Hold tight, focus on pulling through day by day and hopefully that helps it feel less overwhelming. Sometimes looking at too much of the big picture can be paralyzing!

How’s the lymph-node feel? Sore, or no pain? I had lymphoma back in 2020, my lymph-nodes at the time weren’t sore (didn’t hurt at all, even when touching them) and were hard as rock due to the tumors. If yours are sore and not rock hard that may actually not be the worst thing, but you most definitely need to see that doctor in 9 days!

There is a mode for Plague Inc where the tables are turned and you try to stop a pandemic, last I played!

One hundred percent this! While what’s happening in Gaza is beyond deplorable, voting third party only serves to shoot these folks in the foot. Not only would Trump promote actual pogroms to kill off the Gazan population en masse (even worse than the current level of violence), but they’ll find themselves the first up against the wall along with LGBTQ+ folks at home if Project 2025 is allowed to proceed.

You could call it shooting oneself in the foot or cutting off their nose to spite their face, but it’s more like voluntarily slitting their own throat and smiling about it because at least they made the floor messy for everyone in the process.

I’ve played 330+ hours over 3 runs with my friends in VR, beating the Queen while panicking into repeated freefalls into pit (thank you feather cloak) was an insane experience (Yag too TBF; out of our 3 person group everybody died at least once, and several times the lone survivor was stuck doing laps with hordes of Fulings and a few berserkers and shamans in the parade until the others sprinted back from their beds.) Blessings to corpse run lmao
