Humm not sure…i was hoping that there was some kind of bridge that could be made or exists that would allow it to work…short of switching out the internal modem if thats even possible for a hobbyist.

Yah it was a major bummer when that happened and I’m pretty sure some networks shutoff earlier than that, which made a lot of these old devices cool bricks. Love the slide out keyboard but can’t make a phone call :(

Yah I follow a similar approach in addition to doing a simple search for well known malicious commands like rm -rf / and some others as well.
