Thanks for the love! I use mechanical pencils, with leads HB to 8B. The stippling look actually comes from the paper which has a bit of tooth to it, giving it a rough feeling. For pencils I use Pentel Orenz and Staedtler.

Thank you so much! For shading, I work in layers to build up the depth and texture. Start shading with an HB to build the 3D form, then go in with a dark lead and isolate the dark areas and shadows, then finally a mid tone lead to refine everything and mesh it all together.
