I had a great experience except some little bugs that they fixed, it makes sense to use it even if you don’t need the collaborative part but i wouldn’t use it over LibreOffice et similiar if I don’t need the file to be on the cloud

You did not include the “office”/“collaboration” section, if you plan to, i suggest CryptPad

Less surface area to attack; Electron bundles a stripped down Chrorium browser and to make graphics you also gotta use JS… so basically there could be 3 more parts to attack

IIRC, Discord is famous for making rewrites in rust even before LLMs; eg: that time they rewrote their backend from Go to Rust (but i’d still not be too much trustful; they switched to Rust because Go had a bug but that bug was actually fixed since a few releases and they could’ve just updated but instead choose to rewrite)

As a google or proton collaborative calc sheets/word etc etc alternaticeve, i suggest Cryptpad
