Linux@lemmy.ml•Plasma Arrives in openSUSE’s ReleasesEnglish
4·2 years agoAbsolutely yes. The Community is very friendly and helpful (even compared to the big ones like Arch or Debian). And thanks to the QA the have the best RR in my opinion.
Did the upgrade a few minutes ago. No problems so far and everything feels very smooth when it comes to animation, desktop effects etc.

Linux@lemmy.ml•Plasma 6 may arrive next week in openSUSEEnglish
2·2 years agoNo. Tumbleweed is a pure rolling release containing the latest “stable” versions of all software and is updated once Factory’s bleeding edge software has been integrated, stabilized and tested by openQA. So the stability comes before bleeding edge.

Linux@lemmy.ml•Alacritty, Konsole, or something else? Which terminal emulator do you recommend?English
13·2 years agoI am a boring person and use what my DE gives me by default. Konsole is very good and I also use Yakuake a lot but I will also take a closer look at Kitty.

Yeah, don’t know why the Pytnon stuff is in the Frameworks section. I just copy & pasted news.opensuse.org.
