I like the voice but I find her cadence and accent a bit off putting. It makes her hard to follow. It’s like the emphasis is in the wrong place, often, but she has a smoky rasp that is great.
So I get why people like her. I also get why some don’t. What I don’t get is people downvoting you for having an opinion that’s valid, just different to theirs.
Well, if you don’t like someone, it is not unusual to wonder how they got cast. That would assume not realising other people like her, a lot, which they do.
From my perspective, you’re being ruder and pettier than they are. And in a thread they are involved in. The actress is unlikely going to ever hear their opinion.
They will hear yours. Maybe choose to share it in a kinder way and you can be the change you seem to want.
