I know it’s weird but that little bit of promo swag had been on my keychain across 4 cars and now my keys are weirdly light. It makes me kind of sad.

Maybe silver solder would do. Might be less likely to discolor it.
Would it be strong enough?
I’ve done some pretty robust repairs with silver solder. It’s a lot stronger than regular lead solder.
