At the very least you’re taking moderator position in many previously dead ones while simulataneously promoting them. I’m not really looking to split hairs on the technicalities or whether you created them, are taking over them, or stepping in to assist.
Why? Was there really a need for all of these communities?
Edit: to be more clear, I’m seeing I think six communities you’ve posted links to in three or four different community promotion comms, and at least the two communities you’ve promoted that I skimmed are almost all 10+ links you’ve posted with barely any actual conversation or additional context by you.
It’s not like JohnnyEnzyme’s European Comics posts with a lot of personal commentary or anything.
That all seems a but much, especially when the comms are pretty specific niches of content that I would think could fall under existing comms. A specific mergers and acquisitions comm? A specific comm for obituaries? Just comes across a little odd.
You are correct that I’m a mod of them all. I was unexpectedly appointed as one of this community a few months ago, presumably because I began posting consistently. It’s the oldest one of the six I promoted and the only one that might have been considered “previously dead”. I created the other five in the last couple months primarily because I’m personally interested in the topics.
There are many ways I can justify the necessity of the communities. Perhaps quotations was the least necessary because there are many others like it.
Which existing community would you flood with niche posts about litigation settlements, mergers, and acquisitions?
Where would you post to draw attention to a whistleblower?
Can you link me all the communities for each category of mass media?
I’m promoting these communities together because they’re all new projects for me and I aim to make them resourceful places for people to follow current events. Thank you for the criticism about conversation and context.
Is there a reason you’re registering so many new communities all at once?
Registering or promoting?
