The Soviet system used psychiatry as a weapon by diagnosing political opponents as mentally ill in order to confine them as patients instead of trying them in court. Anyone who challenged the state such as dissidents, writers, would-be emigrants, religious believers, or human rights activists could be branded with fabricated disorders like sluggish schizophrenia. This turned normal political disagreement into supposed medical pathology and allowed the state to present dissent as insanity.

Once labeled in this way, people were placed in psychiatric hospitals where they could be held for long periods without legal protections. Harsh treatments were often used to break their resolve. The collaboration between state security organs and compliant psychiatrists created a system where political imprisonment was disguised as medical care, letting the Soviet regime suppress opposition while pretending it was addressing illness rather than silencing critics.

UFOs are bullshit cooked up by the US government, a simple world map of sightings is enough to conclusively settle that, and nobody worth a shit cares what you think

You’re desperate to avoid admitting that I’m right, documentation is not evidence and you’ve got fuck all for actual proof

There’s definitely stuff out in the skies that haven’t been identified though

I don’t get it. Do you feel like every thing that’s been labeled as unidentified is actually identified or something? Like, there’s no things where nobody just knows what it was, it’s all identified?

I feel like you’re playing stupid to avoid acknowledging my very obvious and correct point, that the massive amount of documentation attributing UFO’s specifically to aliens and detailing the abduction experiences of whatever number of people does nothing to prove that assertion true, and that similarly the existence of a large amount of documentation surrounding any given crazy story about the Soviets, or any other enemy of the US for that matter, does absolutely nothing to prove that story true.

There’s ton of documentation and studies on unidentified flying objects. That’s absolutely a real thing. Aliens, not so much.

That’s why the UFO thing was unintentionally funny comparison. It’d be like saying “well yeah there’s a ton of documentation on asteroids too” like yes, yes there is lol
