Why would you want to meet in a mall with your dogs? Is this just the most American thing that I don’t understand or what?

No question, but I think they are confused, since there are lot of places that would be a better choice for that.
In colombia everyone brings their dogs to the mall with them. Do they not where you live?
Dogs are not allowed most places in Denmark. It’s only some hardware stores, pet stores that allow dogs and a few cafes if you are lucky. Most caffes you can sit outside tho which is of course allowed, but then the weather decides the experience.
Oh man. You guys are missing out. Petting random dogs while waiting for the queue to decrease is the best.

This might be a stupid question, but do dogs have problems walking on escalators?
I was confused on why everyone was carrying their dog and I think their paws or fur getting stuck might be the only answer that makes sense to me.
Yes they can get their toes trapped when getting off the escalator.
Also I think a lot are just scared of it moving. I’ve also had dogs scared of walking on like grates, or stairs with open backs. Maybe it’s a depth perception thing. Maybe they just can’t comprehend it? I’ve had a couple pretty dumb dogs though. Still 25/10 puppers.
