Just like t hadn’t occurred to me that x86’s popcnt instruction stands for “population count” :)

I used to eat baked beans cold from the can when I was a student.
You know that the food is cooked in the sealed can at the factory, right?
I watched a documentary about the heinz factory and that was one of the surprising facts I took away from it.
