  • I like mullvad because I can pay for it with vouchers and have nothing to tie my payment to my account#

I don’t think any other VPN can do that.

Theres also the fact that mullvad was raided by the (Swedish)police and even though they fully complied, the police ended up walking away with nothing because mullvad had nothing to give them.

Proton on the other hand, will at the very least be storing your email, payment info, and possibly other info in your account that mullvad won’t. I also don’t like how they have aligned themselves with conservative politics.

  • God. Fucking. Dam. It.

I use too many of their services right now to get everything switched over to something else before trump takes power.

The swiss better fucking jail this guy if he hands over data to the us government without swiss court approval, per swiss law.

Now I have to find a new password manager, VPN, and email provider. Open to suggestions, but I want to find services that aren’t hosed in the us or by trump friendly countries/companies, and ideally use open source software and zero access encryption.

  • My question may have been rhetorical, but not disingenuous. I firmly and honestly believe people should have access to information to help them make choices. If you care about objectivity then you should provide some hard evidence to prove your point instead of just telling people they are wrong. Feel fee to try proving what kind of “agenda” I could have by beleiving in free access to information while you’re at it.
