@DarkCloud If I wanted to be charitable, I’d acknowledge that there haven’t really been progressive Republicans pretty much since Reagan, so younger conservatives haven’t been exposed to them.

@Zephorah And all of this is pretty obvious to anyone with their brain turned on. But even that seems a bridge too far for some.

@PhilipTheBucket They get such a shallow understanding of things, and then get all butt hurt when other people provide a much more logical interpretation based on the specifically stated intents of the original show creators.

@LadyMeow I was hoping they’d all be raptured a couple of weeks ago. Imagine all the problems that would have immediately been solved.

@owenfromcanada These people have invested their entire identities in being miserable. Which ironic because ST is largely optimistic about the future.

@Kirk Gotta appreciate the thinly veiled “great fan replacement” theory. How very subtle. I’m sure the author (whoever that is) felt ever so witty.

@Archangel1313 Noooo, true ST is about straight manly men kicking alien butts!

@GlassHalfHopeful I’ve enjoyed Prodigy and Lower Decks, but I’ve varied between indifference and anger at Discovery and Picard.

@GlassHalfHopeful @ValueSubtracted Exactly my view as well. I still like SNW, though, even though the last season was thin gruel in terms of writing.

@cybervseas @TheAlbatross LD might be harder for new people because there are so many call backs to other series and storylines. This stuff delights us trekkies but might be as great for new folks. @allstartrek #allStarTrek

@VerseAndVermin @FartsWithAnAccent I’m among the few who didn’t like S3. I could not care less for “the chosen one” thing, which is just annoying and a tired trope.

@Salamendacious @Evilcoleslaw In Ira Steven Behr’s doc “What we left behind”, he get the original writers brainstorm a new season of DS9 and they promptly kill Nog in the first episode.

@Melco @mosiacmango The amount of mockery and opprobrium this episode has gotten over the years is entirely justified.

@ConstipatedWatson @NullaFacies i love that documentary.
@don Toxic masculinity is a helluva drug.
