Android@lemdro.id•I’m tired of ‘free’ apps that are just trying to bully me into payingEnglish
891·21 days agoI’d make the distinction between paid app and subscriptions. I think most people don’t mind paying once for something. But every single thing is nowadays a subscription model, it’s ridiculous.

20·26 days agoE-mail seems a divisive topic on that though. You find either people who say, selfhosted my mail for 4 decades already, never ran into issues! While the other end of the spectrum is not to ever ever eeever try selfhosting e-mail, it is not worth it.

Not sure you are using an app or login via browser, but there should be a setting not to show NSFW marked posts in there. Not just blurring. I am using the Thunder app on Android and can access account settings directly, other apps might not have that. Then you would need to login via broswer and change that.

I know there’s many people who cannot understand why others like to watch media on their phones, but that is how it is. You basically have that device anywhere with you, screens are big enough to watch stuff on.
Especially if you have saved movies/series on it, no matter if piracy or not, you got sonething to watch on that long train ride to work, or in your lunch break, or when you wait for some appointment.
Source: me, I am one of those. I am not taking my laptop everywhere. Even the smallest feasibly usable laptop is much bigger than my phone.
