I think so too. Sometimes I have the feeling he does experience something, not the same way as humans do but there is something there. But then I think it’s probably my ADHD ass projecting since that’s what happens to me, most neurotypical interactions don’t make sense to me, but unlike Data I don’t even bother trying to understand. Already did my fair share of masking before being diagnosed.
