Open Source@lemmy.ml•What are your favourite ebook reading apps?
7·3 months agoMy overall favourite app replacing the Kindle app. It is available on almost all platforms. Fully open source and free.
No, thank you. I’d rather be without a phone than bowing down to these corporations.

2·4 months ago“We do have a dedicated creative team & language professionals who prepare the lessons” according to AppStore review.
I use AirLearn over Duolingo which is trash when it comes to learning a language.

4·4 months agoJust use the AirLearn app. I’m learning Spanish on it. Pretty good. If you use an Android, there’s also a premium APK mod for it.

4·5 months agoIt’s very easy.
Go to the Apple Music app on your iPhone, find the album, and copy the link. Then, go to Telegram, type the name of the bot, and paste the link. The bot will automatically download the album for you, and you can save it in your Files app.

YouTube OLED comes with Adblocker, sponsor block, return of dislike button, offline player, or background play and many more features. You can sideload it using Sidestore; however, I’m unsure about its privacy. (That’s what I personally use).
Use either Tuta or ProtonMail (I use both) with SimpleLogin aliases
I don’t think it’s better because it relies on lineageos but I like their ad/tracker blocker approach.
iodéOS is a carbon copy of LineageOS. The main difference is that it has an ad and tracker blocker built in.

1·7 months agoYeah. If I use the default VPN app, many websites would simply block my IP address, so it’s a good way to separate Qbittorrent from other apps and services.

0·7 months agoI’m running a media server on my MacBook. MacOS by default doesn’t support split tunnels, so I’m using qBittorrent + VPN Docker container to achieve that. That way, only qBittorrent is using the VPN file, no other service.

0·7 months agoI don’t have any issues with the Qbittorrent desktop client. I’m also running Qbittorrent Docker.

Not sure about two Android phones, but Signal does exactly that. I use the same account on three different devices. Two desktop and one phone. It has a note-to-self feature that allows you to upload up to 100MB file.
