KDE Plasma. It came on my steam deck which was my first intro to it, it blew me away and installed it on my laptop and finally ditched Windows shortly after. Works great for me.

Please do the needful.
This one really grinds my gears! I think it’s because the person can’t even be bothered to describe what they want you to do, just go fix it and don’t bother me with any details.

3·1 year agoThere’s lots of those. Alien is one of them. The alien itself is the manifestation of humanity’s self centered nature.
No the comic is pointing out that the sun and the earth are both orbiting the milky way galactic center.
Edit: While also true, I was wrong, they orbit the center of mass of the two body problem (earth and sun). I still think that’s too simple of a way to look at it. It’s not a two body problem and the other planets and the whole galaxy are also in play.

Linux@lemmy.ml•KDE Goes and Does It (Double-Click By Default, That Is) - OMG! Linux
33·2 years agoI haven’t tried it but if it works the same as a mobile OS you long click to select. Single click to execute.
Edit: apparently that’s not how it works. There is a checkbox on every icon that you have to click directly on the check box to select/unselect.

Privacy@lemmy.ml•Plex starts narcing on its own users' anime and X-rated habits with an opt-out service, and it's going terribly
1·2 years agoI thought I was opting out of my account and my server. But nope, Plex is scraping up everything that’s on my server and shipping it in an email to other people including me.

7·2 years agoThere’s also a reason for that too. The bag not only needs to be inflated with air to protect the chips, but it also has to have plenty of room for that air to expand and contract due to atmospheric pressure changes. For example, if you made the bag just big enough for the chips and enough air that when pushed or squished a bit it doesn’t cave in on the chips. And your manufacturing plant is at sea level. When those chip bags go on a truck and arrive at 8,000 feet in Colorado. All the bags would be popped because the air inside expanded far beyond the left over capacity of the bag, so POP!
Oysters on the half shell, raw, are alive not dead. I love seafood too, and eat raw sashimi grade fish all the time but yeah I’ve never eaten a raw alibe oyster either.

That was the joke.
