While that’s fair, there does exist pain for which you can’t really imagine much worse at that moment. For me those have been kidney stones and a broken femur.

Having extensively played Star Trek Online, that is about the best you can pull in a Galaxy class. Some days I miss my time heading up the USS Turndammit.
Thankfully, Sharpie marks (even the “industrial” ones) are pretty easy to remove with rubbing alcohol
