There was a day in 2003 when literally everyone who had touched a computer applauded without knowing why.
It was the day Iomega stopped producing zip drives because they were finally obsolete.

If you can read it, they can read it. They have root on the company device.

Well, they’re better than WaPo now. The only real issue I have with the NYT is their Israel bias.

add up a bit for their storage requirements
I bet I, myself, with my current hardware could store ALL of the cloud save files with redundancy.
Save files are usually some type of text. All of the text on Wikipedia comes out to about 24 GB.

I’ve been told over and over again that Valve needs that 30% and they can’t possibly do all that they do with a lower margin. Clearly hosting some files, hosting a forum, processing payments, etc is about ONE THIRD of all the talent and effort that goes into creating a game.

Yeah, more games need to be like Amazon’s New World, where they kneecap their own game in an effort to appeal to the masses like you and the shareholders.
Tennis would also have wider appeal if you didn’t have to run back and forth so much. They should look into that.

The PvP is the majority of the challenge of the game. If you remove that, for the PvE players it becomes Cookie Clicker and they’re done in a week. And it also reduces the participation in the PvP side and damages that part of the game as well.
The cat & mouse mechanic is integral to the game’s success. If that doesn’t work, this isn’t a game.
As long as javascript is running they can track your mouse movement, which is similar to people’s gait when they walk.
Gonna need a source or a reference for that second part. Yes, I’m very aware that your mouse movement can be tracked, so we can skip that part.

we’re seeing an increase in the diagnosis of autism.
Absolutely.
We’re not seeing an increase in Autism
Not sure about that. It can be both.

I think Google wants someone to go after if malware gets pushed onto the Play Store.

Part of the reason it’s to easy for history to repeat.

Honestly, I think you’re defending the right and capitalists by derailing the conversation with your tankie bullshit.
Go to their GitHub and look at issues and their comments first.
It makes more sense when you have the background that most people don’t have a term for that.
Because of course that’s what you’re looking for at first. But yeah, I get that the “no term” data is actual positive data that they surveyed, and they want to make that distinct from “no survey data” but…

Watch the video of the Station Nightclub Fire. You’ll be scarred, but you won’t ignore fire alarms.

It is nice to have the smoke detector communicate out its status. I sure like to know when my house is on fire, even if I’m not home. And a notification about a battery being low is much nicer than incessant beeping.
None of this replaces the primary local, physical functionality. You don’t depend on technology for the thing to work; it’s just an addition.
Confirmed that this is a real paper on PubMed.

What? They’re also all abnormally competent.
If you treat it as spicy search it works pretty great though.
