I’d love to see what happens if I keep being nice and you keep doubling down on the negative vibes, but it seems to me we’re already straining several of this community’s rules so I’m gonna leave it there. Enjoy the rest of your day.

I’m being polite. Try it, it’s more fun :)

I get it. You’re basically lovable hippies who found a cool thing and can’t imagine why anyone would want to use something less good (in their view). Best answer to my question so far thanks :)

“Microsoft is an awful company all around that deserves no one’s business”
Wait… all of the 228,000 people at Microsoft don’t deserve anyone’s business? That seems harsh and a little bit of a broad brush.

I’m going to die of thirst if I don’t use Linux? Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhh 😧

My OS is not abusing me. I’m fine. In fact it’s been incredibly empowering for the last 40 years. I mean it WAS abuse back then, trying to install the damn thing from those 5.25" floppies. Now it’s smooth as butter and I love it because I remember the journey from then to now so clearly.

No need for that mate.

Wow, you learnt that today RandomGS310 did you? The joy that must have given you that you immediately created an account and this was your first and only post? Good for you my totally authentic friend.
If we could all just break character for a sec… I’ve been meaning to ask you Linux lovers a question for a while. Why is it so important to you that everyone starts using Linux? It just seems like you all put so much effort into trying to convert/coerce/shame people into using Linux and I’ve just never understood why?

Wouldn’t that get into all the circuitry of my hard drive? Also, kudos to Microsoft for figuring out how to “literally” build an operating system out of poop. That’s amazing…

I’ve never seen a sequel fumbled as big as Just Cause 4. I’m still utterly befuddled as to how they could mess it up so bad. JC3 had such fantastic, well rounded characters. Di Ravello, Mario, Dimah, Sheldon and even side characters like Looch and Annika. Not to mention that awesome remix of Firestarter in the intro and getting David Tennant involved. It’s been 10 years and I can still picture them and hear their voices perfectly “Looch talking!” 🙂 I hope it’s the JC4 team that are being referred to in that headline and that the team that did JC3 all went on to great things.

Yeah some of those comments are insane… 😲
I’ve always been a little obsessed with Sopwith Camels because they are one of the prettiest but also most insane things to fly into battle with. ROF does an excellent job or giving me that fix :) Also ROF is free to play (and the DLC with the Sopwith right now is super cheap).
This looks completely bonkers and fun :)
I love LinkedIn users like that because they make it so easy for smarter LinkedIn users to stand out! 🤣
One of these things is not like the others.

I hung around their Discord for ages and the pace of development seemed glacial. It’s not that I don’t think it will ever come out but it’s definitely going to be a while. Gave up following after a few months. Love the aesthetic though and I really hope this one doesn’t fizzle out like other titles in my wish list (Road Diner Simulator, B-17 Squadron, Solarpunk, Kerbal Space Program 2 etc.)
It’s getting hammered quite a bit with negative reviews on Steam. I haven’t bought it yet and I’m starting to feel that was a good decision. Apparently the balance is pretty awful. They misjudged the term “Recommended difficulty”. Some people are describing it as a battery management simulator in a space truck.
The urge to shout “HE CAN CHANGE! YOU DON’T KNOW HIM LIKE I DO!” is pretty strong right now 🤣
