Hello! 👋

That would actually explain why one bar i have gone to many times has one beer (that is always on the same tap) that always tates wrong, I thought it was a batch thing. Thanks for this information!

Maybe I am one, it works pretty well on me at least haha

I am unsure if I do, because I do not know if it is a knowledge thing or instinct. But in the forest am I pretty good at finding my way back even if I just walk randomly but it could also just be that I remember how I walked there.
I do not feel the irons taste/smell that often in the city so I do not really know what it is that makes me feel that way. It is mostly in the forest.

I can smell iron in the soil from a distance (depending on how much there is), and if there’s a lot of iron I feel very sick, almost like I’m going to vomit, and I want to get away from it. There was one place like that where the closer I got the more sick I felt and the more iron I smelled, I could taste it like there was blood in my mouth, some months later did they start digging there and found a lot of iron.
I do not really like lager (love other types) for the same reason, the taste has a lot of iron in it especially some brands but I seem to be the only one who can taste it. I kind of rank lager as less or more irony taste lol.
Sometimes at some bars does one or multiple beers on tap taste weird and sweet regardless of type or brand. No one else of my friends seem to be able to tell. I where at a bar once where only one beer tap tasted as it should… The rest had the same sweet weird taste.
I also do not like coca-cola or Pepsi so my taste buds may just be weird.

True! It is less stressful because of that

I wish my body was that precise, my body wakes up an hour before I need to get up in that situation and always in a “shit I am late!” way :(

Maybe kde is the problem? I use Wayland + Nvidia and before xorg. I never liked kde it was always buggy for me so I haven’t used it for many years but when I did was it xorg + Nvidia on Manjaro. But since I went with other DEs have I never had any problems.

Glad I could be of help! Knowing the basics about the terminal (cli) will help you a lot with your raspberrypi when you wish to fix/change/do things on the fly. I often use ssh to connect to mine to do stuff from my phone haha

This is true, but I think it is good to know the basics because sometimes is it easier just like it can be easier in Mac and windows.
I think it is good to know about the tools you have so you can do the best decisions for your use case.
But like you said the terminal is not a must (for most) so if you feel uncomfortable about it then the terminal is not a reason to not switch to Linux.

Depends on what you feel lost about, if it is the basics in general then I would suggest you start of and read about the basics here https://labex.io/linuxjourney they write about the very basics in a very simple way. I think they did a good job, they start of with what Linux is, what distros are to commands from the most basics as how to navigate in the terminal to more advanced combinations. They also have vms where you can try out the commands if you haven’t switched yet.
If it is a cheat sheet as in commands then i would say it is better to make your own of the commands you care about but you can start of by using other ppls list like this one https://www.geeksforgeeks.org/linux-unix/linux-commands-cheat-sheet/ but it can be overwhelming for you so use the linuxjouney first. Also it is very important to learn how to look up how to use the arguments in the terminal with man or -h to make it faster and less painful to use.
If you are lost about programs then there are a lot of good GitHub pages that links to useful programs and cli tools, you just need to search for awesome Linux <what you want> list
Examples:
https://github.com/luong-komorebi/Awesome-Linux-Software You can use their web pages version too https://luong-komorebi.github.io/Awesome-Linux-Software/ https://githublists.com/lists/awesome-lists/awesome-bash
Here is one for distros https://github.com/kolioaris/awesome-linux-distros
Here is an example for customizing https://github.com/fosslife/awesome-ricing
When looking for programs is it very important that you know what distro you are on, what desktop environment (like kde, gnome, xfce) and what window composition you use (usually Wayland or x11, x11 is older and is more compatible).
So in short start of at https://labex.io/linuxjourney
Then look up distros here https://github.com/kolioaris/awesome-linux-distros
For new ppl do I think Ubuntu based is best because almost everything has a Ubuntu version, when you feel ready can you test out other distros. I haven’t tried bazzite, I started of many years ago on debian (a few random ones like arch and mint) and then pop os for many years and now cachyos, I liked my journey but that doesn’t mean it is correct for others.
I would suggest to have all of your data you care about on a separate disk or have automatic backup of it so you can break your os without care. And if you start customizing would I suggest setting up a GitHub repo and commit your changes everytime you like what you see so it is easy to go back if you regret something.
I hoped this helped on your journey, I didn’t want to overwhelm you so I hope I kept it simple enough :D
I searched for the meaning and got a video clip instead of a musical about the word, still don’t know the meaning and I am fine with that, now I know how to sound precocious ;)

That is very interesting, I have always used firefox and Android and have never seen that problem so I got curious and went to bestbuy.com to check and it looks exactly as it should for me. Do you use any add ons? I use ublocker, decentraleye and super agent.

I have many stories how I either accidentally cut into my fingers or break the bones. But most of them was pretty logical (still stupid tho) why it happened but one time was I going to lift up my friend + the chair they sat on for the lols and my ring fingers bone broke… I don’t know how… Your guess is as good as mine
My cat loves sleeping with his face pressed inside my armpit or as close as possible in the bend of my arm. Sometimes, he can’t breathe that well, so he does the swimmer’s thing where he pulls up his head, takes a deep breath, and then goes back in 😂

You could try running them with wine. I have done so with Photoshop but it was pretty long ago and it was not a subscription version of Photoshop, but maybe vs will work out for you otherwise you could try rider all my colleagues who did the switch after some learning curve loves it a lot more than vs. It is faster and resharper doesn’t slow down like it do with vs.

I may have missed them but did ppl have strong negative opinions about how the story was written? I saw only bug reports. I played it two years after release on my steam deck with almost no bugs (the few I saw did not mater). It is a great game until you have done all the quests with a story and done all of the endings, after that was it pretty boring and the city felt lifeless and pointless, but up to that point was it great and engaging. But I never played update 2 or the dlc so that can have changed.

Yes that picture thing happened multiple times at my old job. They kept pestering me about give them a pic to add to the “about us” page and I had to use my face in all channels (jira, slack email and so on) because “otherwise I can’t tell who is who”… my current job handled that much better, they asked for a pic (if I wanted to) to be used as reference for an artist (always the same) to make an avatar and that is now the avatar my coworkers and I use in presentations, systems, emails, webpages anything, we never use real image of our coworkers unless the person wish for it.

Not only telling your real name, you weren’t supposed to tell your real birthday, give away your phone number or where you lived, even just saying the city was a bit much. So filling in those things like on Facebook or LinkedIn feels very wrong but it would be even more wrong to have fake info there. So my new rule is, only add ppl I know irl to places I use my real info and everything else can I add anyone to.
rquickshare This is not an app for the phone because it uses the app you already have by default (nearby share/quick share), it enables you to use it with your Mac or Linux computer on the same lan so you can share your clipboard and files. I like it a lot.
