Love for me. Nothing better in life than having mutual love be it romantic or friendship.
Also stories of all kinds are pretty great.
I stream on https://twitch.tv/imperorthefirst and run https://www.youtube.com/@Imperor dedicated to longform gameplay of grand strategy, 4X and TTRPG games. My main goal is helping people get into more complex games!

EU already has this with the GDPR. Only limitation are retention periods required by law, like employee data needs to be kept for ten years in Germany for example, but for the duration whoever has the data must block it from being processed for anything but the legal requirment, as that becomes the legal basis for processing (storing in this case) and no other uses are allowed until deletion.
Only applies to EU citizens though plenty companies have implemented straightforward ways to delete an account for everyone.

Thank you, appreciate it! Added the link to the body of it, too.

Hey, I don’t quite understand your point. It’s entirely about the process and thoughts around migrating to Linux from the point of view of someone who has never attempted it. It’s about adaptation. If it does not fit the sub, I do apologize for crossposting here and will not do so in the future.

I posted the link in the original post, seems to have gotten lost, sorry. As others have said, it’s a video essay where I talk about the experience of it.
I do apologise if that doesn’t fit this sub. I had to fight a bit through stuff because I game and stream and that was what held me back from attempting it in the first place. Here’s the link :) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JoYW6HEVBCI

“We thought the unwashed masses would kill each other for the chance to give us all their money for something intangible and entirely devoid of value, but it appears they are even poorer than we thought they were.”

I only picked it up recently and I have put in 230+ hours (granted, some on stream) but I think it is one of the most fun survival games out there for me and a great zombie themed game overall.
I really appreciate the inventory handling, that there are no bosses and just zombies to deal with. My only gripe is - as with many of these games - that there isn’t a real end to a playthrough. But such is the nature of a sandbox.
Absolutely not worth the full price tag, but on sale it’s an easy recommendation from me.
It is not transactional. Trying to weigh something good against the realities of everyday life is not helpful for enjoying the good thing. You have to go through all those everyday things anyway. Best enjoy the things that are simply ejoyable.
