But this isn’t a matter of free speech, is it? Google isn’t a government entity, and as such, aren’t they exempt from freedom of speech? The same thing happens with nearly every social media platform. They CHOOSE to let you in. They don’t have to. Google has CHOSEN to support ICE personnel instead of the people. Shitty and morally bankrupt, yes. I’m not arguing that. But why is this a first amendment issue?
That is legitimately the first time I’ve heard someone say something nice about the show.
I’m a cis white male with hair long enough to ponytail. Playing with my daughter at the park, a little one asked me if I was her mom or dad. When I told her that I was her father, she asked me why I had a ponytail. Without missing a beat I responded with “because my hair is long.” Little girl thought for a moment, put on a “yeah, that makes sense” look, and went about to go play.
Joey is there to emphasize a shocked realization.

There’s nothing explicit in it. Just says he fell in, died from the heat, and dissolved overnight. No video released.
Not at all. Some people are really using these chatbots as emotional support or even therapists, sometimes with devastating results (suicide).
But I couldn’t walk through a door-sized version if there were a screen, unless there’s some other European magic I didn’t know about.
The fact that they come in door sizes is new to me, but that sounds magical. Now if only bugs didn’t see a cracked door or window and think it’s free real-estate.

That’s ridiculous. We won’t have oceans that far in the future.

Number go up make people happy.

My daughter went through a phase where she REALLY wanted to play Roblox. Probably word of mouth from school. I’m not THAT old (only mid 30’s) but I didn’t really understand the concept of Roblox or how you buy more games. That probably led to me telling her no. Glad I stuck to my gut.

Watching my wife play, I was appalled at the numerous framerate and graphical issues. Once I finally got around to playing it myself, the issues didn’t impact me that much. There’s still no excuse for a game made that far into the system’s life to play like that, from the companies in charge of the largest multimedia franchise currently in the world.

Didn’t Microsoft also have a chat bot that went off the rails, talking about Hitler and such? Found it. It was named Tay.

People like to pile on Bungie for a lot of things, but I don’t think this should be one. It’s not as though Bungie is the only game with voice actor issues at the moment. They’ve done what they could with what they had. I fully prefer this awkward method of story telling as opposed to trying to replicate the lines through AI or with non-union actors. The one criticism I have is that there isn’t any chirp or noise in game to signify that lines should be heard at the moment. Usually, when characters speak, the Ghost chirps before the lines are said. That little detail is missing. I think that would help a lot until an agreement can be reached.

I assure you, it’s not just Japan.
